Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with strong orthopedic surgical skills for a travel assignment at a Magnet-designated teaching hospital in Minnesota.
Details

Operating Room (OR) in an acute care teaching hospital with Level 3 trauma designation
Primary focus on orthopedic surgical cases; general surgery as a secondary specialty
Day and evening shifts available on a 5x8 schedule with start times of 6:45 AM, 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, or 2:45 PM
Weekend shifts required as needed
On-call required on an as-needed basis
Floating within scope required, including to nearby affiliate hospitals
Block scheduling can be accommodated
EMR: Epic (Excellian) — experience required
Scrubs are provided by the facility
Requirements

Active MN RN license required (pending license accepted)
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience with strong orthopedic focus
Epic (Excellian) EMR experience required
At least 1 supervisor reference required for consideration
Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information

• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Candidates who have previously worked at this health system as permanent staff or per diem must have been separated for at least 3 months from their last shift worked
• RTO requests of no more than 5 days are preferred
• Pre-start online modules are required to be completed before the assignment begins
• 13-week contract minimum; interest in a longer contract extension should be noted at the time of application
