Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) Position

We are currently seeking a 40-hour Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) or a therapist in the process of preparing for CHT certification to join our esteemed hand therapy practice at MGH in Boston, MA. Our team of 10 experienced CHTs collaboratively delivers exceptional care. Our clinic serves both scheduled appointments and walk-in patients from MD visits, requiring candidates to demonstrate evidence-based clinical reasoning and advanced treatment skills, including splinting. We offer ongoing mentorship and opportunities for clinical growth through internal continuing education, along with substantial personal CE funding for conferences. Conducting assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities to determine appropriate therapy interventions.

Providing ongoing therapy services to patients, including but not limited to: manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, functional training, and modalities.

Supervising and mentoring other occupational therapists to ensure high-quality care and adherence to best practices.

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.

Participating in professional development opportunities and staying up-to-date with advances in occupational therapy research and practice.

Contributing to program development and quality improvement initiatives as needed.

Master's Degree Occupational Therapy required

Occupational Therapist [State License] - required

occupational therapist experience 3-5 years required experience in a residential/assisted living or skilled nursing facility 3-5 years preferred

Knowledge of medical terminology.
