Cook at Beckley HotelThe Cook at Beckley Hotel is responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for hotel guests. This is a full-time, individual contributor role, located in Beckley, West Virginia. The successful candidate will have a passion for cooking, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Compensation & Benefits: This is a full-time, salaried position with a competitive compensation package.Responsibilities:Prepare food to standardsClean the kitchen areaCreate and modify menus in accordance with guest preferences, dietary restrictions, and seasonal availabilityAdhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environmentMaintain a positive and professional attitude towards guests and colleagues at all timesPerform other duties as assigned by managementRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentProven experience as a cook, preferably in a hotel or restaurant settingStrong knowledge of food preparation techniques, including but not limited to grilling, sautéing, baking, and broilingExcellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, including kitchen equipment and food suppliesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAvailability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededMust be able to pass a background check and drug screeningEEOC Statement: VP Management is an equal opportunity employer.
