Job Summary
Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Aurora, Colorado. The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) position located in Aurora, Colorado. The selected candidate will work in a general mixed ICU that manages a variety of patients, including Medical, Surgical, Cardiac, and Neurosurgery cases, as well as post‑operative open‑heart surgery patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Required Qualifications
Valid licensure
Minimum 1 year current acute care ICU hospital experience
Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Prior Meditech experience
Experience with CVICU or Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (care of the immediate post‑operative open heart surgery patient)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with post‑operative open heart surgery patients
Bedside procedures such as bronchoscopies, GI scopes, chest tube insertions, arterial and central line insertions, airway care, and drip titration
