Java Engineering

This Developer will design, develop, and enhance microservices‐based applications and event‐driven systems. This role is hands‐on and focuses heavily on building robust, scalable services while collaborating across engineering and product teams.Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and secure microservices and cloud‐native components.Implement performance optimizations, profiling, troubleshooting, and tuning application code.Collaborate closely with cross‐functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product Management, Architecture) to deliver high‐quality software.Ensure compliance with security standards and follow best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation.Stay updated on Java ecosystem advancements and apply modern frameworks, tools, and patterns in development.Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge‐sharing sessions.Contribute to event-driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.Required Qualifications5+ years of experience in Java-based software development.Strong proficiency in Java 11+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and RESTful APIs.Working experience with microservices, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).Good knowledge of relational databases ( Oracle/MySQL) and NoSQL ( MongoDB/Cassandra).Experience with asynchronous messaging or event streaming tools such as Kafka .Understanding of secure coding practices and CI/CD workflows.Solid problem‐solving skills with experience working in Agile teams.Requirements for this role include:5+ years of Software Engineering experience with web application development5+ years of Java development experience5 + years of Java Micro Services experience5+ years of Spring/SpringBoot experience5+ years of experience developing and using RESTful Application Program Interface (API)3-5 years experience in banking domain2 + years of cloud computing experience/PCF/Azure/AWS4+ years of MQ Series or Kafka Messaging experience4+ years relational database management system (RDBMS) experience2+ year of experience with in-memory databases such as Redis, MongoDB, or Cassandra3+ year of experience with BDD development.Posting Date:Department:PAS Staffing - MLS - 1022310011
