Clinical Responsibilities & Advocacy As a CNA at Kensington, you are the primary point of contact for our residents, providing the essential care that defines their daily experience:
Holistic Resident Care: Provide dignified assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and specialized feeding.
Mobility & Safety: Master safe resident handling by assisting with ambulation, turning, and positioning to ensure skin integrity and physical comfort.
Serve as the "clinical eyes and ears" for the nursing team; monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes in physical or emotional status.
Environment Management: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living space for residents, ensuring their "home" reflects the high standards of our facility.
Documentation Excellence: Utilize our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to complete accurate, real-time reports and records in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with Unit Managers and the Director of Nursing to implement individualized care plans.
Qualifications For Success Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Certification: Must hold an Active Wisconsin Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
Compliance: Must be compliant with state healthcare worker background check requirements.
Basic computer literacy for digital charting.
