Doctor of Medicine | Endocrinology Location: Pueblo, CO Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Endocrinologist – Permanent Position Overview: UCHealth, in collaboration with our dedicated ENT group, is actively seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Endocrinologist to join our well-established outpatient practice in Pueblo, Colorado. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to deliver high-quality specialized care in a vibrant community known for its stunning Rocky Mountain scenery and abundant outdoor recreational activities. Provide comprehensive outpatient endocrine care focused on adult patients, including management of diabetes, thyroid disorders, and osteoporosis. Utilize ultrasound imaging within the clinic to assist in diagnostics and procedures. Manage a busy clinic schedule, seeing approximately 15 patients daily. Work within a modern healthcare environment using the EPIC Electronic Medical Record system across the entire UCHealth network. Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and stay updated with advancements in endocrinology. Contribute to the development and implementation of patient education programs; a certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) is in the process of joining the practice. Qualifications: Medical Degree (MD or DO) and successful completion of an accredited Endocrinology fellowship. Board Certification or eligibility in Endocrinology by the ABIM or equivalent. Prior outpatient clinical experience preferred, especially in diabetes, thyroid, and osteoporosis management. Eligibility for medical licensure in Colorado.
