Head of Programme Management

The Program Manager of Testing Programs contributes to AHF by delivering exceptional program oversight for the assigned testing programs in the Los Angeles metro area. This leadership role provides direct support and program development including quality assurance, client satisfaction, and the delivery of HIV testing and prevention services in multiple community-based settings. The Program Manager leads and supports a team of client‑facing prevention staff and is also responsible for ensuring that prevention contract deliverables are attained, and reporting requirements are met.

The Program Manager enhances the reputation of AHF by utilizing their knowledge of the community to ensure that testing and prevention services are offered in a manner that reaches the greatest number of at‑risk individuals possible, while executing AHF’s core values. As such, the incumbent routinely establishes relationships with and coordinates with other AHF business lines, community partners, and local governments/public health jurisdictions to maximize the delivery of testing and prevention services in the community.

To be successful as the Program Manager, it is crucial to ensure that the AHF Core Values and Mission stay top of mind with all that you do. AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders.

The Program Manager will work as a part of a close‑knit team to contribute to the Public Health Division by fostering a team‑oriented work environment and promoting a patient‑centered approach. Additionally, the position works both independently as part of a team to successfully manage simultaneous projects that allow AHF to meet our mission.
