The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers, advising on talent strategy and proactively building strong, diverse candidate pipelines.This position is on-site in Downers Grove, Illinois, and is ideal for a recruiter who is execution-focused, data-driven, and comfortable supporting a fast-paced, results-oriented organization.**Full-Cycle Recruiting*** Manage the end-to-end recruiting process for assigned roles, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer preparation, and onboarding coordination.* Support recruiting for LTL transportation roles, including Sales, Operations, and Corporate positions.* Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, performance expectations, and hiring timelines.**Sourcing & Talent Pipelines*** Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other recruiting tools.* Build and maintain pipelines for Sales and LTL-related talent, including account executives, sales leadership, and operational support roles.* Provide market insights related to talent availability, compensation, and competitive hiring trends.**Recruiting Systems & Data*** Manage requisitions and candidate workflows in Workday Recruiting.* Ensure accurate documentation, compliance, and data integrity within the ATS.* Track and report recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and hiring volume.**Candidate & Hiring Manager Experience*** Deliver a professional, consistent, and timely experience for candidates and hiring managers.* Advise hiring managers on recruiting best practices and effective interview techniques.**Compliance & Process Improvement*** Ensure recruiting activities comply with employment laws and internal policies.* Identify opportunities to improve recruiting workflows, tools, and hiring outcomes.* Support employer branding and recruitment initiatives as needed.**Job Requirements:****Required Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.* 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.* Hands-on experience with Workday Recruiting.* Strong proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed.* Experience recruiting for LTL transportation roles and Sales positions.* Ability to work on-site in Downers Grove, IL.**Preferred Qualifications*** Experience recruiting within transportation, logistics, or LTL environments.* Experience hiring Sales roles, including quota-carrying and revenue-generating positions.* Familiarity with recruiting metrics and data-driven hiring decisions.* Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.* Physical Demands: + Sedentary physical activity performing non- strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature. + While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, stand, reach/handle items, work with the fingers, and talk and hear others in conversations via the phone or in person.* Job Location:*** Downers Grove, IL**Benefits:*** PTO* Paid Holidays* Medical Insurance* Dental Insurance* Vision Insurance* Life Insurance* 401k**Roadrunner Freight is building something special with great people, a winning culture and a differentiated service offering in the marketplace.
