Customer Service Estimator

As an Estimator at Arrive Alive Traffic Control, a proud member of the AWP Safety family, you will play a vital role in generating accurate, competitive bids that support the success of our traffic control projects. We’re looking for a driven, goal-oriented professional with a client-focused mindset -- someone who thrives on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and confidently moving deals from initial contact to close. Perform detailed material and labor takeoffs (e.g., Stay informed on local, state, and federal traffic control regulations.
Calculate labor, material, and equipment costs using takeoff data.
Generate formal quotes and proposals using estimating software.
Adjust pricing based on project scope, location, and client needs.
Communicate with clients and contractors to clarify project details.
Follow up on submitted bids and awarded projects with contractors.
Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients and contractors.
Support Senior Estimator with daily estimating tasks.
Coordinate with operations for smooth project handoff after awarded.
Participate in internal reviews and contribute to process improvements.
FDOT Advanced MOT or ATSSA certification preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
1–2 years of experience in estimating, construction, or a related field

Compensation: $70-80K Base + 10% AIP (Annual Incentive Plan) Bonus
The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
