Physician Medical Oncology/Hematology Physician

Novant Health Cancer Institute-Mount Airy is seeking a medical oncologist.

The Triad Region is a division of Novant Health Cancer Institute. Novant Health has a focused interest in growing cancer care in the Northern Region of the Triad, with recent agreement to acquire Northern Regional Hospital (located in Mt. Airy, NC) and its related healthcare facilities in late 2026 and recent acquisition of Community Hospital of Stokes (located in King, NC halfway between Mt. Novant Health Cancer Institute has future plans to expand access to cancer care in King in 2027/2028.

Our comprehensive cancer program emphasizes disease-focused sub-specialization, with most physicians concentrating on one to two primary disease areas within a collaborative, multidisciplinary care model. We work closely with our Heart & Vascular, Neurology, and Surgical Institutes. Additionally, we have a growing FACT accredited cellular therapy program.

4 clinical days + 1 admin day each week

Board-certified or board-eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology

Candidates with a special interest in Breast and/or Genitourinary Oncology are encouraged to apply.
