Night shift, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality patient care in a behavioral health setting. The RN will be responsible for assessing patient needs, planning and implementing care plans, and ensuring adherence to best practices. The RN will float among five designated hospitals as needed.

Responsibilities

Conduct patient assessments and evaluations in a behavioral health unit.

Administer medications and monitor patient responses.

Implement crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.

Keep detailed and accurate medical records using Epic charting system.

Provide support for patients experiencing psychosocial stresses and crises.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a behavioral health setting.

BLS certification required.

Active RN license in New Jersey or Compact license required.

Experience with the Epic charting system preferred.
