Registered Nurse | Dialysis - Full Time

Full Time | Dialysis | $35.00-$55.00/hr

Gateway Regional Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse to join our Dialysis team. In this specialized role, you will provide quality hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis care to adult and aging adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced dialysis nurse or a Registered Nurse looking to specialize in dialysis nursing. Training is provided for nurses without prior dialysis experience.

Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to patients requiring hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis

Provide care in both inpatient and outpatient dialysis settings

Assess patients before, during, and after dialysis treatments

Follow established clinical, regulatory, and safety standards

Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary dialysis team

Educate patients and families regarding treatment, care, and disease management

Assist team members as needed to support safe and efficient department operations

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license

One year of dialysis nursing experience preferred

Dialysis experience is preferred, but training is provided for qualified nurses new to dialysis
