Job DescriptionOB Hospitalist Physician\n\nPosition Summary:\n\nAs part of the Ob Hospitalist clinical team, an Ob Hospitalist embraces delivering a quality OB Hospitalist program.\n\nPosition Responsibilities:\n\n Deliver obstetrical and gynecological care to patients including but not limited to providing contraceptive services (at hospitals that provide contraceptive services)\n Deliver direct patient care to high-risk patients including situations where Maternal Fetal Medicine support may only be available by telephone or video consultation\n Participate daily in Labor and Delivery board rounds\n Serve as the ‘Safety Officer’ on Labor and Delivery to ensure that all patients, regardless of their primary admitting clinician, have the safest possible outcomes\n Support community physicians and midwives through clinical assistance as requested including practice coverage as requested and as safely available\nShifts:\n\n 24-hour shifts (majority)\n Some 12-hour or mixed-shift models\n Full-time clinicians typically work 5–9 (24-hr) shifts per 28-day block\nBenefits:\n\n Health, Life, Vision, Dental\n 401k w/ profit share contribution & Roth option\n Malpractice – Covered with unlimited tail coverage (lifetime)\n CME:\n \n $2,000 Annual Stipend toward\n ACOG/ACOOG membership dues\n ABOG/AOBOG certification maintenance\n Subscriptions, License fees for state licensure on OBHG assignments & more!\n \n Clinicians are eligible for coverage with a shift commitment of 5 shifts per 28-day block\nRequirements:\n\n Board Certified or Active Candidate Ob/Gyn Physician\n Licensed to practice medicine in the state of assigned site\n Highly relational, able to build strong rapport and positive working relationships with all stakeholders (Hospital leadership, hospitalist teams, nurses, staff physicians, and OBHG corporate staff)\n Significant experience with obstetrical emergency care (preferred)\n\n\n#PM #PL
