RN ICU FULL Time Nights Weekend Only

Overview Corewell Health is now offering a $12,000 sign‑on bonus for this full‑time, 12‑hour night position on the ICU. The unit is a 20‑bed combined Surgical, Medical, and Trauma ICU where the focus is on Patient and Family Centered Care. The team comprises registered nurses, nurse assistants, and unit secretaries with a nurse‑to‑patient ratio of 1:2, adjusted for acuity and census.

Scope of Work / Responsibilities The RN, under the ANA scope of practice, uses the nursing process to provide professional nursing care. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and discharging patients while incorporating patient‑family centered care principles. The RN delivers quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader, follows Corewell Health policies and procedures, and partners with patients and families to set goals, develop teaching strategies, and document education and learning in the health record.

Qualifications Associate’s in Nursing (Required)

Bachelor’s in Nursing (Required within 5 years)

Graduates from a non‑accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience, or at least two years of experience in a licensed health‑care role, and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination.

MI Registered Nurse (RN) (Required)

Intensive Care Unit, 2E – Farmington Hills Hospital
