Location: Gurnee, IL
Pay Rate: $25/hr
Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm with rotating Saturdays 8:00am-12:00pm

What You'll Do

Collect high-quality blood specimens through venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures
Verify patient demographics and ensure accurate specimen labeling in the patient's presence
Maintain accurate records and documentation while adhering to established protocols
Provide exceptional customer service and create a safe, professional environment for patients
Support multiple patient service center and physician office locations as needed
Perform daily activities accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision
What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Minimum of 2 years of Patient Service Center experience preferred
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Keyboard and data entry experience
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between locations as needed
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record, if applicable
• Ability to meet compliance requirements
