Caregiver needed for flexible weekend shifts

Village Caregiving - LexingtonVillage Caregiving - Lexington is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregivers in Clay City for split shifts on the weekends and other flexible schedules.This individual will be responsible for providing direct care and support to a client in their home. Ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.Responsibilities:Provide assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and groomingMedication remindersPlan and prepare meals and snacksAssist with light housekeeping tasks and laundry as neededEscort clients to appointments and activities, if neededEngage in meaningful conversation and activities with clients to promote socialization and cognitive stimulationMonitor and report changes in clients' physical and mental healthCommunicate effectively with clients, their familiesAdhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelinesRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license, auto insurance and reliable transportationPrevious experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred but not required, we provide PAID training including CPRAbility to work independentlyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCompassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanorWillingness to undergo a background check and drug screeningYou will also be eligible for supplemental insurance.
