Must-Have:
Candidates must possess EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, SVE competency, and C-Section circulation.
Candidates must have 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
Description:
This is a contract RN position in Labor and Delivery.
The assignment is for 13 weeks with rotating weekend shifts.
There are no call requirements.
The unit has a total of 32 beds and a staff of 150.
Patient ratios are 1:2.
Each shift will consist of 1 charge nurse and 1 co-charge nurse to accommodate the patient ratios.
Typical procedures performed on the unit include SVD, cerclages, C-Sections, and TOLAC.
Candidates with internal monitor placement competency and experience in a Level IV unit will be preferred.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude.
The dress code requires navy blue scrubs.
Solid blue, black, or gray sweatshirts are acceptable; t-shirts are not permitted.
Candidates should adhere to the attendance policy.
