How you'll make an impact in this role
Provide comprehensive clinical oversight by reviewing, assessing, and assuring the appropriate selection, dosing, and dispensing of all medication orders to ensure patient safety and optimal therapeutic outcomes.
Collaborate actively with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to identify and resolve potential drug-related problems, recommending evidence-based formulary alternatives.
Lead the pharmacy support team by overseeing the accurate compounding and dispensing of medications and serving as a mentor or formal preceptor to pharmacy students.
Deliver essential drug information, education, and effective counseling to both medical staff and patients, empowering them to manage their care journey.
What minimum requirements you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:

~ Licensed Pharmacist credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy required.

Education:
~ Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
