Volt is immediately hiring multiple Industrial Painter Assistants in San Diego, CA.
As a Painter Assistant, you will:

Performs cleaning of parts prior to painting, masking, paint preparation, and after proper training performs industrial epoxy painting on simple parts.
Cleans, sands, grit blasts, masks, and performs other surface preparations prior to paint application.
Applies paint to all specified tolerances in all areas.
Removes masking and cleans parts prior to further manufacturing processing. Sets up and operates necessary equipment following established procedures, specifications, oral and/or written instructions.
Performs other protective coating processing.
Maintain material records and order coating materials to sustain established inventory levels.
This is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity.
Schedule: Monday – Friday

1. st shift - 6am – 2:30pm plus overtime during week and weekends.
2. nd shift - 2pm – 10:30pm plus overtime during week and weekends.

Painting experience
English communication skills
Ability to pass a 7-year criminal background check and drug screen, as well as E-Verify
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $20.75 per hour - depending on shift
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
