Metals Supervisor Analytical Operations
Full-time | Compensation: USD 65,000 - USD 75,000 - yearly

Our East Syracuse, NY laboratory is seeking an experienced Metals Supervisor to supervise and grow a high-performing analytical testing team. As the Metals Supervisor Analytical Operations, you will own day-to-day laboratory operations, guide analysts and technicians, and ensure high-quality, compliant data deliverywhile actively promoting a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Metals Laboratory Operations
Lead daily Metals laboratory operations to meet turnaround time, throughput, and data quality objectives
Partner with Team Leads, Senior Analysts, and the Laboratory Manager to support hiring, onboarding, and training
Manage daily performance, address issues proactively, and model strong leadership behaviors
Quality, Safety & Continuous Improvement
Address safety concerns immediately (e.g., hood use, PPE compliance, chemical handling)
Implement and reinforce best practices to ensure data quality meets or exceeds industry standards
Maintain appropriate operating supplies and communicate potential risks or issues to management
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline, or equivalent education and experience

• 4+ years of experience in analytical testing laboratories
• Strong understanding of laboratory workflows, process optimization, and sample lifecycle management
• Knowledge of environmental testing protocols, regulations, and certifications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Advanced English language skills (written and verbal)

Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
Collaborative leadership culture with visibility to management
Schedule: Full-time | Exempt (not overtime eligible)
Immediate eligibility for 401(k) retirement plan
Four (4) floating holidays annually
