CNC Machinist ll Fabrication 1st Shift

Our Combat Mission Systems business is currently looking for a machine operator that is ready to rise to the challenge to deliver products that help protect the lives of those who serve.

CNC Machinist I Location: Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Thursday (4/10 schedule).

Pay Information ***There is a sign on bonus of $5,000 available for this position.***

$33.75 per hour.

Planer Mill, Radial Drill, Engine Lathe, VTL, HBM, Jig Bore, Vertical and Horizontal Hone, ID Grinder, OD Grinder, Surface Grinder, Centerless Grinder, conventional Mill/Lathe, CNC/NC Mill/Lathe.

Operate repair‑type operations requiring restoration of overhaul parts.

Work under the supervision of a Team Leader who provides minimal instructions; Maintain and improve housekeeping standards and adhere to safety rules and practices.

Use the shop floor computerized time and attendance system, including clocking in/out, closing shop order sequences, etc.

Qualifications Graduate or current student of a Machinist Career College program.

Ability to apply algebraic, geometric, and trigonometric functions to blueprint dimensions in machining complex parts.
