Supervisor - Janitorial Cleaning

LSU Health New Orleans Division of Facility Services is seeking highly motivated applicants for the position of Custodian Supervisor A.
This is work supervising and assisting custodian 1s and 2s in maintaining the cleanliness, sanitary conditions and appearance of a specific assigned LSUHSC building.

Two years of experience in custodial, housekeeping, groundskeeping, or food service work.

Supervise the cleaning of assigned building. Deal with campus cleaning emergencies during normal work hours
Assist cleaning of assigned building
Conduct inspections of respective areas
Follow-up on employee's performance to insure peak productivity
Personnel matters a) process payroll time sheets; c) complete annual performance reviews based strictly on expectations listed on the plans for the previous year; e) conduct new employee evaluation, training and counseling throughout the probationary period; f) conduct re-training for established employees as needed
Manage work orders
Maintain building supplies inventory a) oversee the drawing of supplies by individual employees from building storage area; b) initiate requests for equipment or supplies issued by the Storeroom
Hours of Operation: 6:00 am -2:30 pm Monday - Friday
Starting rate of pay is $14.03 per hour. Pre-employment Drug testing, Physical and Criminal Background check are required.
