Epic experience required
Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience
At least 6 months of recent Telemetry experience
Epic EMR experience required
Shift: Nights & Days Shift
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Unit Details

Patient Population: Cardiac and Telemetry patients
Not a Step-Down Unit
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: Temp-to-Perm opportunity available
Active RN License in the state of employment or Compact License
The Registered Nurse practices independently in a clinical setting and demonstrates sound clinical judgment while providing routine and complex patient care. The RN utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and healthcare needs
Delegate tasks appropriately and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred
Telemetry experience strongly preferred
New experienced RNs are required to attend New Nurse Orientation within the first 30 days
Unit-specific competency training provided
