We have an industry-leading pipeline and comprehensive portfolio of products for cardiac and vascular care.We are recruiting for a Junior Field Service Engineer in France to be responsible for the installation, upgrade, repair and preventative maintenance of Vascular capital equipment. Working closely with the central dispatch team as well as sales/clinical colleagues, the Field Service Engineer will be responsible for driving customer satisfaction through service excellence.Key Responsibilities:Hardware/software field support: includes system installation, maintenance, calibration, upgrades, troubleshooting and repair, also includes demo system maintenance and preparation for congressesDocument field service interventions per QA system requirementsReport capital equipment incidents per QA system requirementsProvide support and technical assistance for in-house training courses and congressesProvide system maintenance and troubleshooting training to customer biomedical engineering departments and Abbott sales and field clinical staffExtensive national and international travel required based as per business needKey Requirements:A Bachelors degree in electronics, engineering or similar is preferred, but relevant experience consideredPrior experience in medical electronics service or related field service is required (medical devices/software based medical systems would be advantageous)Strong electronic and mechanical engineering skills including troubleshootingComputer skills: MS Office, LinuxFamiliarity with Cathlab/operating room procedures/protocols would be advantageousWillingness to be flexible, respond at short notice to scheduling requirements, work with autonomy in a fast-paced environmentAs you’d expect from a global healthcare company, we offer a fantastic range of benefits including competitive salaries and bonus potential, a superb defined contribution pension scheme, private healthcare, life assurance and a flexible benefits scheme.Role based in Tours or NantesThe base pay for this position is N/AIn specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.JOB FAMILY:Field ServicesDIVISION:AVD VascularLOCATION:France > Rungis : Miami BuildingADDITIONAL LOCATIONS:WORK SHIFT:StandardTRAVEL:Yes, 75 % of the TimeMEDICAL SURVEILLANCE:Not ApplicableSIGNIFICANT WORK ACTIVITIES:Not Applicable
