What You'll Do
As a Cost Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing and analyzing the company's product and process costs (COGS). You'll support strategic decision-making by delivering accurate financial insights and working closely with the operations team. Responsibilities include:

Analyze operational costs and provide key insights
Maintain and update standard costs for inventory and assembled goods
Report COGS results with expected vs. actuals to operations
Manage variance accounts and ensure internal controls compliance
Create and validate BOMs and new item entries
Perform ad-hoc analysis and cross-functional projects
Support finance and accounting team members when needed
What You Bring
We're looking for someone with strong analytical acumen, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit. You should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years of cost accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing
  • Solid grasp of GAAP and cost accounting principles
  • Proficiency with ERP/costing systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or Dynamics)
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure setting
