Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and craft tailored treatment plans for patients dealing with mental health challenges.

Collaborate with a diverse healthcare team to ensure holistic and effective care for each individual.

Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, continuously monitoring patient progress to achieve optimal outcomes.

Provide ongoing therapy and support, fostering a safe and supportive environment for patients.

Lead community outreach initiatives, educating the public on mental health issues and breaking down barriers of stigma.

Maintain meticulous and compliant patient records that reflect our commitment to quality care.

Participate in team consultations and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Advocate passionately for the needs of your patients, connecting them with vital resources and support.

Qualifications:

Board eligible or certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with an active RN/PNP New York State license. An ideal candidate needs to be an NYS Medicaid provider.

• In-depth knowledge of psychopharmacology and current best practices in therapeutic interventions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued.
