This role communicates with customers to ensure world class service is provided and always operates according to safety policies and procedures.**Essential Responsibilities*** Load and unload product from delivery trucks and vendor shipments.* Stage deliveries.* Ensure inventory is dated and rotated per schedule.* Inspect products for defects and damages when receiving or shipping.* Assist in customer pickups, providing exceptional customer service.* Participate in inbound and outbound quality assurance processes.* Operate and maintain order pickers and warehouse equipment.* May operate other specialized equipment to move and distribute freight.* Maintain grounds by picking up papers and trash and cleaning parking lot and entrance to building.* Maintain stock and merchandise area, keeping it organized and clean.* Ensure cleanliness of offices, bathrooms, warehouse floor, truck docks and aisles through mopping, sweeping, and washing.* Remove trash daily by emptying trash containers, transporting materials to disposal area, and recycling materials.* Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date.* Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all.* Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation.* Communicate any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and company operations.**Education*** High School diploma or equivalent preferred**Professional Experience*** 1+ Years general work experience preferred And**Skills List*** Strong communication skills.* Knowledge*** General warehouse operations* Knowledge of the equipment and function of Powered Industrial Trucks for product relocation and safety inspection* Microsoft Office products (preferred)**Physical Demands**Warehouse Environment* Sitting frequently* Standing frequently* Walking frequently* Talking frequently* Hearing frequently* Lift or move up to 100 pounds* Usage of hands and fingers* Reaching with hands and arms* Stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling occasionally* Sight is required to ensure the safety of yourself and others.**Under immediate supervision, performs assigned tasks only as instructed, subject to regular check of performance.* Benefits Included:*** Excellent career growth opportunities through on-the-job training and development programs* 401(k) with employer matching* Mental health and life resources* Medical, dental, prescription, and vision plans* Get paid on-demand* Base pay or uncapped commission* Employee discounts on Mattress Firm sleep products and accessories **Compensation:**Competitive pay range of $18.00 to $19.50 per hour *\\*Actual pay is based on documented and verified relevant work experience and does not guarantee employment for any specific period.
