The Busser plays an essential role in creating a smooth, welcoming, and enjoyable dining experience by supporting the service team and ensuring the dining room is clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times. Your attention to detail in setting tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining a well-stocked and orderly environment helps the restaurant operate efficiently and allows servers to focus on delivering exceptional hospitality. Through teamwork, initiative, and a commitment to guest satisfaction, you help create a comfortable and memorable dining atmosphere that reflects the high standards of the Live! brand.
Compensation: $15/hr
Where You'll Make an Impact:
Responsible to stock wait stations, bar and host stand.
Responsible for bringing ice as needed.
Responsible to clear tables of dirty dishes, linen, silverware and transport to kitchen via bus cart.
May assist host and hostesses to seat patrons.
Responsible for resetting tables after they have been cleared.
Skills to Help You Succeed:
Excellent customer service and people skills.
In-depth knowledge of food sanitation and safety policies.
Strong attention to detail.
High energy levels.
Ability to:
Work in a team.
Organize and be creative.
Use a cash register, credit card machine, point of sale machine, and restaurant bar equipment.
Knowledge of:
Sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of food.
Alcohol Beverage Control laws, health regulations, and PPE (Personal Property Equipment).

Must-Haves:
A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
One (1) year food service experience. (Preferred).
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission for the position and an Alcohol Beverage Card required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk continually throughout a scheduled shift.
Ability to bend, stoop and reach while carrying dishes, product, equipment, trash/waste weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to push bus cart and carry trash/linen bags weighing up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions:

• 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees
• Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
• You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.

Please note that this is a union position, and individuals in this role may be required to pay applicable union dues and fees.
