The Lifestyle Athlete & Rehabilitation (LAR) is a patient‑centered physical therapy and rehabilitation clinic located in Williston, Vermont. We specialize in serving active individuals of all ages — with a particular focus on aging athletes and those who refuse to let injury or time slow them down. Our patients range from competitive athletes to weekend warriors to active adults managing the realities of getting older and staying in the game. We accept insurance and provide evidence‑based, individualized care that meets patients where they are.

Our admin team works remotely, so whoever joins us clinically will largely be running the show on‑site — trusted to do their job well without someone looking over their shoulder. This is a part‑time, W2 PT position with flexible shift availability. We are looking to fill the following shifts and may hire more than one person depending on fit and availability. You will carry your own insurance‑based caseload, delivering high‑quality physical therapy evaluation and treatment with a focus on active and aging individuals across orthopedic, sports rehab, post‑surgical, and chronic pain populations. You will work alongside Henry, our Athletic Trainer, in a clinic where you are largely the clinical lead on‑site day to day.

Available Shifts:

Sunday — 6:30 AM to 1:30 PM

You do not need to be available for all shifts. For the right candidate, there is also the option to expand into personal training or life and health coaching services — but this is entirely optional, not expected. Physical Therapist

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized plans of care

Provide direct patient treatment across orthopedic, sports, post‑surgical, and chronic pain diagnoses

Manage your own caseload with appropriate documentation, insurance billing compliance, and continuity of care

Work primarily with active individuals and aging athletes who want to stay in the game

Participate in monthly clinical staff meetings to align on care, operations, and team priorities

Stay connected via Microsoft Teams for day‑to‑day coordination on patient care, scheduling, and clinic operations

Contribute to a culture of excellence, integrity, and patient‑first care

Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program

Active Vermont PT licensure (or eligibility and commitment to obtain prior to start date)

Minimum 5 years of clinical PT experience

Proficiency with insurance‑based documentation and billing requirements

Experience in an outpatient orthopedic or sports rehab setting

Certification or training in dry needling, manual therapy, or other specialized modalities

Personal interest in fitness, athletics, or active lifestyle — you understand the patients because you are one

Interest in expanding into personal training or life and health coaching (optional, never required)

Comfort working independently in a small clinic where you set the tone on‑site

Full access to our state‑of‑the‑art on‑site gym

Option to add personal training or life and health coaching services (for those interested)

Remote admin support — you focus on patients, not paperwork logistics

High‑autonomy environment: come in, do exceptional work, go home

Has 5+ years under their belt and doesn’t need to be taught how to be a PT

Thrives working independently on‑site; admin is remote and the owner is not hovering
