Machine Repair (Maintenance Tech)

Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced garment manufacturing facility. This role is critical to ensuring production equipment, utilities, and facility systems run safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically inclined, and experienced in troubleshooting industrial equipment.
Shift: M-F, 7am-5pm
Equipment Maintenance & Repair
Perform preventive maintenance on sewing machines, cutting equipment, pressing machines, conveyors, boilers, and compressors
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
Calibrate and adjust machinery to maintain performance and product quality
Maintain detailed maintenance logs, repair records, and parts usage
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production delays
Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and process improvements
Facility & Utility Maintenance
Inspect and maintain building systems including HVAC, electrical, lighting, and plumbing
Ensure facility cleanliness, safety, and compliance with OSHA standards
Inventory & Parts Management
Track spare parts inventory and communicate replenishment needs
Assist with sourcing parts and coordinating with vendors
High school diploma or equivalent

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Experience in garment or textile manufacturing
