Nurses in this role will be responsible for providing exceptional care to adult patients facing a variety of acute medical conditions. The patient population may include those with cardiac, neuro, renal, infectious disease, pulmonary issues, and more. Responsibilities\n \n Coordinate direct patient care and ensure optimal outcomes. \n Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatments. \n Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care. \n Monitor patient conditions and administer medication as prescribed. \n Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Meditech charting system. \n Schedule\n Full-time night shifts are available, consisting of 3 twelve-hour shifts per week. Nurses are required to work every other Saturday, with Sundays off. Qualifications\n \n Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience. \n Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. \n Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required. \n National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required. \n Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility. \n Patient Ratios\n The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5.
