This is an exceptional opportunity for an Optometrist seeking both professional fulfillment and an outstanding quality of life. Clinic volumes are designed to support quality patient care, typically ranging from 20-30 patients per day. Summary This position offers a sign on bonus up to $5,000.00
Essential Functions Perform primary vision care, including the examinations of the human eye, analysis of the vision system, and the determination of the refractive powers of the eye.
Will always seek consult with an ophthalmologist or optometrist colleague on any case that is beyond personal comfort zone.
Works closely with the ophthalmologist to insure continuity of patient care as well as quality assurance on all medical eye conditions.
Stay current through continuing education courses on improved treatment and management methods for all eye conditions and/or eye diseases.
Demonstrate Standards of Behavior and adhere to the Code of Conduct in all aspects of job performance at all times.
Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited college of optometry.
Bachelor's Degree.
Currently licensed to practice Optometry in the state of Washington.
Basic knowledge of the care given in a medical setting.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Speak to others with a pleasant phone manner.
Respond calmly in an emergency situation.
Examine documents for accuracy and completeness.
Physical/Sensory Demands O = Occasional, represents 1 to 25% or up to 30 minutes in a 2 hour workday.
F = Frequent, represents 26 to 50% or up to 1 hour of a 2 hour workday.
C = Continuous, represents 51% to 100% or up to 2 hours of a 2 hour workday.
