Maintain knowledge of new developments in the field of substance abuse
Complete required testing, assessment, and psychosocial history on incoming residents as required
Participate in related training for substance abuse
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, or related field and one (1) year clinical experience in a health or human service agency, OR
An Associate Degree form an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing, or related field and two (2) years clinical experience in health or human service agency.

Knowledge of the field of addictions or mental health counseling preferred.
Ability to work overtime as requested by supervisor.
Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
