The Writer/Editor (Communications Specialist) is responsible for creating, editing, and managing a variety of internal and external communication materials. This role requires exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and content development skills to support marketing, public relations, leadership communications, and brand initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can translate complex information into clear, engaging content while maintaining brand consistency across multiple channels.

Minimum 5 years of professional writing, editing, or communications experience

Experience producing content across multiple communication channels

Strong editing and proofreading background

Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing, or a related field

Experience with content management systems

Knowledge of email marketing platforms

Experience maintaining brand style guides

Social media analytics experience

Write, edit, and proofread content across multiple formats

Create articles, blog posts, newsletters, and press releases

Develop social media and marketing copy

Maintain brand consistency across communication channels

Conduct research and transform complex topics into engaging content

Manage content calendars and publication schedules

Review content for grammar, style, SEO, and brand compliance
