Direct Support Professional DSP Caregiver Part Time Flexible

Job Description Build Community. At Omega Day Centers , our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities build confidence, independence, and meaningful connections within their communities.

As a DSP, you won't simply provide support—you'll help people discover their strengths, pursue their goals, participate in their communities, and experience meaningful moments of growth.
As a Direct Support Professional , you'll provide person-centered support based on each individual's goals, preferences, abilities, and needs.

Support Independence
Help individuals develop and strengthen daily living and life skills.
Provide assistance with personal care and activities of daily living when needed.
Support personal goals and celebrate progress along the way.

Build Community Connections
Accompany individuals on community outings, recreational activities, volunteer opportunities, and educational experiences.
Help individuals develop meaningful social connections and participate in their community.
Assist with planning and facilitating engaging recreational, educational, and life-skills activities.
Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, supervisors, and other members of the support team.
We value compassion, reliability, patience, and a genuine desire to help others succeed.

High school diploma or GED.
Reliable personal transportation with current auto insurance.
Ability to travel within the community.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn electronic documentation systems.
