Full Time Urology Physician

Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking a Urologist to support operations at the Martinsburg VA Medical Center located at 510 Butler Avenue, Martinsburg, WV 25405.Schedule is typically Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm with call. Full-time and Locum Tenens positions with generous compensation packages are available.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive urology services, including outpatient clinic care, consults, cystoscopies, surgeries, and basic urological procedures.

Perform inpatient rounds for urological patients.

Conduct specialty exams (e.g., compensation and pension, agent orange) related to urological conditions.

Communicate test results to patients and providers per VA policy.

Provide discharge education and follow-up instructions for clinical and surgical patients.

Adhere to established medication policies (no sample medications).

Participate in on-call coverage, responding to phone consultations and being available on-site within 60 minutes.

Attend quality improvement and staff meetings as required.

Complete documentation for quality management, patient safety, and infection control.

Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and committee meetings.

Ensure compliance with patient safety standards and report incidents as required.

Maintain accurate and timely medical records in the VA electronic health record system.

Complete mandatory trainings and participate in performance evaluations.

Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.

Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.

Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.

Must be able to pass a federal background investigation

All candidates must be able to:

Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift

Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist

Lift up to 20 lbs

Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance

Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
