Senior Estimator – Plumbing Projects

We're working with a well-established contractor in the Long Island market that's looking to bring on a Senior Estimator to support large-scale plumbing and mechanical projects. This person will take ownership of the full estimating process — from early budgeting through final project buyout — and play a key role in driving consistency and accuracy across the function.

Lead the preparation of budgets, bids, and cost estimates for large-scale plumbing projects

Review drawings and project documents to define accurate scopes of work

Identify risk factors and evaluate potential cost impacts early in the process

Support project teams during job execution, including meetings, change orders, and project closeout

Occasionally visit job sites to support estimates and project understanding

10+ years of estimating experience within construction (plumbing/mechanical strongly preferred)

Strong understanding of materials, labor, and overall construction costs
Experience with estimating software and strong Excel skills
Field experience is a plus
