Warehouse Person - Distribution

Summary:
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the incumbent assists each area of the warehouse on an as-need basis, shipping and receiving freight, and distributing parts within the warehouse and to various departments. The job holder also operates straight trucks.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Demands:
Visual requirements include ability to see detail at near range with or without correction
Must be physically able to perform heavy work: exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 60 pounds of force frequently, and 40 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Must be able to perform the following physical activities: stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, climbing, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, hearing, and repetitive motions
Equipment & Software:
Equipment: Computer, hand, power, and measuring tools, pallet jack, forklift, digital camera, company vehicle, and handheld scanning devices.
Software: Internet browser, email, calendar service (MS Outlook), spreadsheet, intranet project scheduling (Portal 2), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications
Safety:
Follow policies found in Seneca Tank's Safety Manual.

High school diploma or equivalent
