Ambulatory Weekend Oncology Nurse
TLC
Oncology RN - Outpatient Infusion
Schedule: Possible shifts: 7:45–16:15, 8:00–16:30, 8:30–17:00, 9:00–17:30, 9:30–18:00 Weekends: Not required Call: Not required
Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Requirements: Minimum 1 year nursing experience Prior oncology/infusion outpatient experience required Oncology certification required: ONCC or ONS Required certifications: BLS; Oncology certification (ONCC or ONS) Charting system: Epic (experience preferred)
Roles & Responsibilities: Administer and monitor chemotherapy (IV and oral) Manage continuous chemotherapy infusions and ambulatory pump operations Provide care for ports and central lines, including blood product administration Recognize and manage chemotherapy-related complications (e.g., extravasation, anaphylaxis, TLS, neutropenia/sepsis) Familiarity with infusion pumps required
Compliance / Notes: References: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required RTO: Provide all requested time off at submission Floating expectation: Refusal to float may affect assignment/guaranteed hours COVID-19 vaccine: Not required Flu vaccine: Unknown
