Job Description Radiology Technologist

Landmark Hospital of Athens has an exciting opportunity for a Radiology Technologist to join our dedicated and professional team. Landmark Hospitals are committed to providing the highest level of customer service and quality of care to those we serve.

Radiology Technologist Summary: Provide patient care services via diagnostic radiology exams/procedures utilizing CT, x-ray and c-arm equipment. Will also perform other administrative duties as assigned, including scheduling of radiology department staff. Obtains and documents patient information including history, pregnancy status, procedure(s) performed, and problems encountered

Produces quality images within prescribed amount of time; Produces images that are complete and of sufficient quality to be easily read by radiologist

Assumes responsibility for provisions of physical and psychological needs of patient during radiology procedure(s)

Applies principles of radiation safety practices, infection control procedures to protect self and others

Strictly follows isolated and infection control procedures

Vocational /Graduate of an AMA radiologic technology program

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)(CT)(R)

Minimum 1 year hospital experience, critical care/acute care preferred
