Full-Time Yard Person

Job Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a safety-focused Driver I (Yard Driver) to support our warehouse and yard operations. This position is responsible for moving trailers and containers within our facility and, if qualified, between locations. Operate a yard tractor to move trailers/containers within the facility

Transport trailers between facilities (if holding a valid Class A CDL)

Perform pre- and post-trip inspections (tires, brakes, lights, fuel, etc.)

Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed

Follow dispatch instructions using RF systems and yard management tools

Coordinate with yard controllers to optimize equipment turn times

Direct outside drivers and ensure adherence to yard safety procedures

Maintain yard organization and safe driving practices

High school diploma or GED required

• 1+ year of experience operating a yard tractor or tractor-trailer
• Class A CDL (preferred for on-road transport duties)
• Career growth within a large international organization
