CRNA | Anesthesiology | Full Time

This outpatient surgical facility in the Lynchburg, Virginia area is a dedicated provider of ophthalmic surgical services. The practice is known for its streamlined, efficient, and patient-centered approach to eye care. It offers a professional and supportive environment where clinicians can focus on high-quality outcomes in a specialized clinical setting.

Immediate openings are available for both full-time and part-time CRNAs to join a highly autonomous practice . This position is ideal for an experienced provider who enjoys working independently and prefers specialized ophthalmology cases. The schedule is highly desirable, operating Monday through Friday with absolutely no call, no nights, and no weekends , providing an exceptional work-life balance.

Independently provide and manage anesthesia care (primarily Monitored Anesthesia Care/MAC) for a variety of ophthalmology procedures.
Monitor patient vital signs and manage anesthetic depth throughout the procedure to ensure patient safety and surgeon satisfaction.
Manage post-operative recovery and discharge criteria for the surgical patient.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic anesthesia records.
Collaborate effectively with the surgical and nursing teams to ensure efficient patient flow.
Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) and CRNA in the state of Virginia (or eligibility for licensure).
Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
Previous experience in ophthalmic anesthesia or outpatient surgical settings is preferred.
Insurance Requirement: The CRNA must provide and maintain their own malpractice insurance .

Daily Rate: $1,600 per day for an average 8-hour day.
Positions available on a contract basis (1099).
