Restaurant Dishwasher (Part-Time Nights)

Part-Time Dishwasher

We are a fast paced, high energy, private club and are seeking a Part-Time Dishwasher. This is a very interactive position and communication is very important while managing the dishwashing area and providing support to the Back of the House employees as needed following all sanitary and health related protocols.

You must be willing to work a flexible schedule including Days, Nights, Weekends, and Holidays.

Operate the industrial dishwasher.

Clean iced tea, coffee and milkshake machines daily.

Follow sanitation policies at all times.

Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times.

Provide assistance to servers by bussing tables as needed.

Assist bartenders with cleaning of the bar area as needed.

Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately.

Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to appropriate party.

Maintain cleanliness of the dry storage room, kitchen, cooler and freezer.

Ensure items are stocked and priced accurately;

Contributes to building a positive team spirit;

Uses equipment and materials properly.

Follows policies and procedures;

Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time;

Minimum of two years of experience in restaurant setting.

High School graduate/Equivalent.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. Ability to work an open schedule, including evenings, holidays and weekends as necessary to meet the needs of GGC.
