This full‑time, on‑site Emergency Medicine Physician role is located in New Braunfels, TX. The physician will provide comprehensive emergency medical evaluation and treatment to patients of all ages presenting with acute illnesses and injuries. Daily responsibilities include performing focused history and physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, initiating appropriate treatment plans, and coordinating care with consulting and primary care clinicians. The role involves managing critical and time‑sensitive conditions, overseeing urgent care cases that present to the emergency department, and ensuring accurate, timely documentation in the medical record. The physician will participate in interdisciplinary communication with nursing and ancillary staff, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and follow departmental protocols and evidence‑based guidelines to support safe, efficient patient care.

Strong clinical foundation in Medicine and Emergency Medicine, with the ability to provide comprehensive care in a fast‑paced environment.

Expertise in Emergency Services and Urgent Care, including triage, rapid assessment, and management of a broad range of acute conditions.

Competence in Critical Care Medicine for the stabilization and ongoing management of severely ill or injured patients.

Current MD or DO degree from an accredited institution and completion of an ACGME‑accredited Emergency Medicine residency (or equivalent training).

Unrestricted license (or eligibility for licensure) to practice medicine in the state of Texas and current DEA registration.

Board certification or board eligibility in Emergency Medicine as recognized by the relevant certifying body.

Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and adherence to evidence‑based clinical guidelines; experience with electronic health records preferred.
