Facility Maintenance Handyman

Facilities Technician I Located in San Diego, CA (San Diego Brewery or Milford Brewery), the Facilities Technician I maintains and repairs mechanical equipment, building and infrastructure modifications, and ensures compliance with food grade and non‑food grade standards.

Job Responsibilities Demonstrate a strong technical understanding of brewing, packing, and support equipment.

Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more areas of the process.

Ensure maintenance areas are safe, clean, and orderly.

Ensure proper cleanup after completed maintenance work.

Observe equipment in operation to prevent/diagnose potential problems.

Identify, suggest, and discuss solutions to equipment and facility issues with management.

Assign parts to work orders.

Independently complete PMs on Packaging, brewing, and support equipment.

Assume Facilities Apprentice responsibilities when needed.

Desired Experience and Traits Personal curiosity in improving skills.

Previous facilities or mechanic experience required.

Sanitary welding experience a plus but not necessary.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required.

Compensation & Benefits Starting rate: $27.50 per hour (salary commensurate with experience).
