The Position: The Project Engineer will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Project Managers (PMs) and other key people within the organization with day-to-day tasks such as bidding, scheduling, contracts, billing and collection, etc.

Software and applications (HCSS, financials, scheduling, etc.)

Building (grading, paving, milling, subcontractors)

Equipment use

Billing and collection

Beginning knowledge of mix designs, plants, and aggregate sites (manufacturing)

General business operations (understands details of company operations)

In conjunction with the other Project Engineers and PMs, ensures the daily, weekly, and monthly tasks are addressed in a timely fashion

Spends time with Operations, PMs, Scheduling and some exposure to Manufacturing and Technical Services

Attends project meetings (pre-construction, pre-pave, scheduling, etc.)

Bachelor's degree, vocational training, certification from an accredited organization or combination of schooling and relevant work experience

Takes initiative to identify and anticipate organizational needs and make recommendations for implementation
