GHR Healthcare is searching for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week travel contract with a highly respected hospital in Falmouth, Massachusetts (Cape Cod). This is a great opportunity to lock in a solid weekly package while working in a coastal New England area known for beaches, waterfront dining, and easy weekend exploring.
Position Summary
Under the direction of the Radiologist and the supervision of the Director of Radiology, the Ultrasound Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations utilizing independent judgment, technical expertise, and professional initiative to produce high-quality diagnostic images while providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities

Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with established departmental protocols.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to patients of all ages.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Accurately document procedures and patient information in accordance with hospital policies.
Maintain compliance with departmental, regulatory, and safety standards.
Support departmental workflow and assist with additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Associate’s degree or completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
ARDMS (Abdomen/OB) or RDCS (Echo) certification required.
Current BLS certification required.
Previous hospital ultrasound experience preferred.
Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
