Part Time Seasonal Pharmacist - Vaccination

At CVS Health, we help people navigate the health care system by improving access, lowering costs and being a trusted partner for customers. Travel the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled by the District Performance Coordinator and act as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts without overlap.

Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by directing the pharmacy team to follow workflow procedures and safety guardrails at every workstation.

Assume the Pharmacy Manager’s day‑to‑day duties when being the only or primary pharmacist‑on‑duty.

Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy, coaching the pharmacy team, collaborating with the patient’s total health‑care team, and proactively resolving insurance or medication issues.

Offer and deliver immunizations to keep patients healthy; support Pharmacy Technicians in learning immunization.

Manage pharmacy inventory, guiding the team on best practices, especially protecting cold‑chain products.

Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs while fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging team dynamic.

Support access to care and improve outcomes via pharmacist‑delivered clinical care such as testing and prescribing services where permissible.

Ability to travel within a reasonable radius for market staffing needs.

Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.

Ability to complete required training within the designated timeframe.

Customer Service and Team Orientation

Use math to solve problems such as determining total tablets to dispense and calculating daily supplies.

Close visual acuity for transcription, computer terminal, reading, and inspection of small parts.

1-2 years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer‑service setting.
