As a Warehouse Operator at Ryerson, you will be responsible for maintaining stock levels and production on the shop floor.

Breaking down bulk bundles for customer specific orders

Packaging of material to customer requirements

Daily machine operation to produce parts to customer specifications

Work order confirmation on computer

Operating an overhead crane, forklift, and side loader to move material as needed

Truck loading/unloading

Successfully pass a skills-based assessment - evaluates your reading, math, inspections & measurement, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

Some experience working in a warehouse and manufacturing setting

Forklift/side-loader experience preferred

Ability to safely operate the Overhead crane preferred

Basic computer skills and/or comfort using a computer

Successful candidates will be enrolled in a registered apprenticeship program as part of their onboarding

A starting pay rate higher than $24.02 per hour is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale.
